Tour starts TODAY… after breakfast, a walking tour of Colombo – Later in the evening, proceed to the Ministry of Crab for Dinner (included).

Day 03 – 7 July’2024 – B D

After early breakfast, proceed to Kandy (3.5 hrs drive) Check into Kandy House. We proceed with our orientation walk of Kandy – ….. and end your walk at Kandy Market surrounded by local life and an exciting array of exotic fruits and vegetables. Proceed to your hotel for overnight stay afterwards.

A Special Curry Night will be waiting for you this night at your hotel. (included)

Day 04 – 8 July’2024 – B

After breakfast, visit the Buddhist Nuns in Kandy this morning…..

There’s an OPTIONAL extra cost tour: Explore the Kandy Streets for a Gastronomical Street Food Experience with your Specialist Host, or enjoy shopping in Kandy. Return to Kandy Hotel, overnight stay. No dinner included tonight, but dinner available (your costs).

Day 05 – 9 July’2024 – B – All inclusive at Tea Trails Teas, Drinks, Lunches, Dinners..

After breakfast, you will be taken to the train station in Kandy to Hop on the train to Hatton. …..arrival at Tea Trails, our Relais & Chateaux property for two nights, you will be met by your chauffeur guide, at the station, and taken to the hotel. A mouth-water Tea infused dinner will be served at your hotel tonight (included)

Day 06 – 10 July’2024 – B L D

Pinkies up.. resident Tea Planter passionately delves into all aspects of tea in just the right amount of detail – from a look back to the early days of ‘planting’ and the lifestyles of the early colonial settlers, to the manufacturing process, to how flavours are created to suit various palates – he’s got it covered. Dinner included tonight.

OPTIONAL extra cost tour: Later in the afternoon, get ready for your Kayaking Experience on the Castlereagh Lake US$35 per person or…. enjoy our gorgeous location, with a cuppa tea on the verandah, with a book, for company?

Day 07 – 11 July’2024 – B D

After breakfast, proceed to Galle. (5.30 hours drive) Check into our Boutique Accommodation – Fort Bazaar (Bazaar Room) Explore the Iconic UNESCO Galle Fort at your own pace this evening. Suggestions of where we can enjoy marvelous Srilankan dinner together will be offered – Jean’s paying for dinner tonight.

Day 08 – 12 July’ 2024 B D

After an early breakfast, depart Galle at 8.00 AM and proceed to Bentota visiting a Turtle Hatchery en route…………. to the Lunuganga Estate afterwards on time for the Garden tour at 11.00 AM. Lunuganga Estate was the country home of the renowned Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa. Return to Galle upon completion and you will have the afternoon fee for shopping inside the Galle Fort and your walking tour of the Fort with your guide. Alas, it’s our farewell dinner tonight. It is included.

Day 09 – 13 July’2024 B

After breakfast, depart Galle, proceed to the Airport in time to meet your departure flight. (or stay another night in Galle) (extra charges applied). Speak to Jean if you’d like this option.
